Gig Guide: April- Muse, Jack Garratt, Troye Sivan and more!
April is finally here and with the clocks coming forward, we can officially declare Spring has sprung (when it is not pouring down with rain of course!).
So whether you are on the countdown to a summer of picnics and music in the park, or counting down to the next bank holiday in May, fear not. We have a lot of great music to keep your spirits up!
British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jack Garratt is coming to the O2 Academy Bristol (7), O2 Academy Birmingham (8), O2 Academy Oxford (11) and O2 Academy Brixton (15).
Jack, an incredibly talented musician, can not only play the guitar, drums and piano, but also the the harmonica, mandolin, trombone and ukulele. Writing his first song at 12 years old, Jack said in regards to his childhood that he ‘just really enjoyed making noises and really enjoyed the reaction that I got from making those noises. So they [parents] put me on music lessons to encourage me to hone in on that talent rather than show off’.
Releasing his debut studio album ‘Phase’ on 19 February 2016, 2016 is no doubt going to be a huge year for Jack having won BBC Introducing Artist of the Year, BRIT AWARDs Critics’ Choice and BBC Sound of 2016.
