England Rugby Look Forward To The Old Mutual Wealth Series

It’s just over two weeks until the England Rugby team line up again at Twickenham for the start of four huge games in the Old Mutual Wealth Series.  Don’t know about you, but we’re super excited to see them back in action.

It seems an age since England dominated a powerful and much fancied Australia team in the historic whitewash series down under this summer.  What’s key in any form of sport is momentum and with the long break in international rugby, Head Coach Eddie Jones will be looking to continue the excellent form his team has had since he took charge at the turn of the year.  A perfect 100% win record in nine games really shows what a great job him and his coaching team have done with the squad.  Jones prides himself and his team on perfection and we are sure he will be demanding the same this autumn.

Standing in his way this Series will be South Africa, Fiji, Argentina, and Australia which will test, push and challenge this current crop of England rugby players like never before.

When Jones sat in front of the media in his first press conference he set the team a target to become the most dominant team in Europe. He achieved that winning the Grand Slam, however the focus  is now the first game against South Africa. If England can take a clean sweep of victories in the Old Mutual Wealth Series new targets will need to be set.
