England Rugby Prepare for Le Crunch
They say 13 is unlucky for some, they say 13 is unlucky for all. Try telling that to every England Rugby supporter who witnessed every kick, every tackle and every minute of the 13 glorious wins in Eddie Jones’ first year as Head Coach.
As we approach the opening game of the 2017 RBS 6 Nations, Eddie Jones has installed a collective mentality in the team to forget about past achievements and focus on what is in front of them. That starts with France at Twickenham on 4th February. Les Bleus are always dangerous and can never be taken lightly, but England will fancy their chances as the inconsistencies in the French side have been evident for some time now. And whilst the other nations are still a threat, Ireland are the ones the fans and journalists are predicting will be England’s greatest challenge.
As we’ve seen over the past 2 years England have an impressive squad depth at their disposal. Eddie Jones has utilized that by bringing in three uncapped players Nathan Catt (Bath) Mike Williams (Leicester Tigers) and Alex Lozowski (Saracens). You can see the full England 2017 RBS 6 Nations squad here.
Eddie Jones’ message to the England squad is to never stop improving. Our message to you, the fans, is never stop supporting. Whilst they wear the rose on the pitch, they need you to wear the rose off of it.
You can get involved in the conversation by following O2 Sports on Twitter and Instagram and for the first time ever you can now watch all the entertainment from the O2 blueroom Live from Twickenham. We’ll also be broadcasting live on England Rugby’s Facebook page before and after the match.
Strap yourselves in because the next few weeks are going to be a ride. We are England. You are England. #WearTheRose.
