Movie, popcorn and a 3D space adventure!
A family trip to the cinema is becoming a true adventure because we’re launching the world’s first interactive 3D game!
From the 10th July, families will be put in the heart of the action with complete control- a first for audiences in the UK. The revolutionary game, ‘Asteroid Storm’, takes place on Starship O2, a vessel which desperately needs rescuing from a menacing asteroid belt. As the asteroids shoot towards the audience, they are able to divert from danger by waving their hands in the air to steer the vessel.
Audiences will not have long to wait! We’re giving you the opportunity to play the game before the showings of family films including Ice Age 3 3D and G-Force in the summer, then Up and Toy Story 3D in the Autumn.
However the experience does not stop there… our campaign also invites cinema-goers to play on interactive games in the foyer. Continuing with the space theme, Wac-a-roid challenges you to stamp out ensuing asteroids as they appear.
This new interactive face of cinema will be appearing at 20 Vue cinemas across the UK this summer. Visit www.myvue.com for information on participating cinemas.
