Tomas in Ecuador - update 1
Hello, let me post my impression from Ecuador, location Portoviejo.
After spending the first days in Quito and getting the last instructions we took a plane to Manta, which is a city at the coast of the Pacific ocean with approximately 150 citizens. There we live in a nice small hotel with the rest of the group working directly here.
Our city is Portoviejo, the capital of manabi region. From Manta it takes on an half hour by taxi – bus – taxi. The school starts at 7:30, so latest at six we have to leave from hotel.
The program is divided between the school, where we are in the morning and DyA (centre of free time), where we spend the afternoon.
Tomas is one of our Pronino volunteers and is blogging from Latin America. To find out more about Proniño, head to http://dnc.o2.co.uk/home/Pronino.
