Welcome the New Year with Kasabian at The O2
There are just a few days to go until you can welcome the New Year with a blast and enjoy some great live music from Kasabian at The O2 Arena on New Years Eve for Nye Re:Wired. With support from Chase & Status Live, along with DJ Zane Lowe, and a live broadcast on YouTube for those that can’t make it, it promises to be an amazing night to remember.
Topping off a great year of achievements, including the release of their number one album, Velociraptor!, and a thirteen-date UK tour, Kasabian will take to the stage at The O2 on the 31 December, to help welcome in the New Year in style with all of their fans worldwide for a night of incredible music.
As well as Kasabian’s headline show, you can also enjoy a fantastic live set from renowned London-based production duo Chase & Status. And Radio 1’s Zane Lowe will be kicking off the evening with an amazing live DJ set, making the Nye Re:Wired New Years Eve gig at The O2 at night not to be missed.
If you can’t make it to The O2 on the night, you can still enjoy Kasabian’s set online and bring the party to your home, as O2 will be streaming the show live on YouTube. Letting everyone across the UK enjoy the action, no matter where they are, Nye Re:Wired will be coming to Kasabian fans worldwide, thanks to O2. Shoot The Runner
Released as the second single from their second album, Shoot The Runner came out back in 2006 and managed to reach number 17 in the UK charts.
L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever)
Their second single, L.S.F. was released in 2004 and gave Kasabian their first top 10 hit, reaching number 10 in the UK charts and staying in the top 75 for five weeks.
The title-track from their second album, Empire was released in 2006 and went straight into the charts at number 6, earning Kasabian their third top 10 single.
The fourth single from their debut album, Cutt Off is Kasabian’s second biggest hit, reaching number 8 in the UK charts when it came out in 2005.
The lead single from their third album, Fire came out in 2009 and was a huge hit, reaching number 3 in the UK Singles chart on the week of its release.
