O2 connects small and large businesses at annual Buyers Fair

On the 16th October, we’ll be hosting our 2014 annual Buyers Fair. We have invited small businesses to come and meet procurement representatives from Telefonica,  as well as our biggest suppliers and partners and a group of social enterprises to explain the products and services they offer.

The idea behind the day is to provide small businesses with the opportunity to understand what we and some of our major suppliers including Accenture, HP, IBM, BT, Capita, TAG and ISS are looking for when it comes to working with them.

Representatives from the local Chamber of Commerce, Social Enterprise UK and our Think Big team will also be on hand to answer questions and give advice.

We host these events as we’re passionate about helping the UK’s small businesses, and believe this provides them with a great opportunity to understand how they can work more closely with large businesses. However, we also recognise that we can learn from small businesses – their agility and innovative nature provide us with food for thought.  In previous years we have come across businesses with great ideas that we are now working with, so there’s great scope to network and build relationships from our side too.
