Note to self - take a Note 4 selfie
Selfies. They’ve been around since 1839, but they didn’t really take off until recently. And wow, have they taken off. Now, they’re one of the most popular forms of expression – and the subject of the most retweeted tweet ever.
Now, they’re also a way for you to win.
We’ve got a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for one lucky winner – and all you need to do is snap a selfie with as many people as possible.
Tweet your selfie using the hashtag #Note4self and, if you’ve got the most people in your picture, you’ve won yourselfie an incredible device.
To give you some time to pull it off, we’ll keep the competition open until 11.59pm on Thursday 20 November, and we’ll contact the winner on Friday 21 November to let them know. Make sure you’re following @O2 when you submit your entry, so we can DM you if you’re a winner.
Now – there are a few rules that we need to point out. Firstly, your pic needs to be an actual selfie, where everyone’s in the photo on purpose and they know it. Taking a selfie in front of your telly while while there’s a crowd on the screen, or while grinning at a match or a sell-out gig – that’s cheating.
Next, it has to be people, so a selfie of you with your seventeen cats isn’t going to cut it – get out into the world, be more dog and meet some actual humans.
Finally, there’s only one Note 4 to win – so the person who takes and tweets the selfie is the winner. Everyone else in the picture will only win the warm sense of satisfaction that comes from helping their chum obtain a device with a 5.7” Quad-HD Super AMOLED screen. If it’s a tie, the winner will be picked at random from those with the most.
The rest of the rules are just our usual competition ones – you can read them here if you’re stuck for something to do while your mates turn up for your epic selfie. Good luck!
