Radio X will stage a series of major live music events around the UK in November and December this year to celebrate its new national presence. O2 is the official partner for the Radio X Road Trip, which will be hosted by new Radio X breakfast show host Chris Moyles. The events will take place at:

03.11.15: Stereophonics at O2 Academy Bristol

09.11.15: Bloc Party at O2 ABC Glasgowexplorer

23.11.15: Courteeners at O2 Academy Leeds

02.12.15: Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Johnny Marr, Neon Waltz and Pretty

Vicious at O2 Apollo Manchester

08.12.15: James Bay at O2 Academy 2 Birmingham

 

Chris Baughen, managing editor of Radio X, said: “Today Radio X goes live right across the UK. To celebrate this we wanted to do something special for listeners. We’ve created the Radio X Road Trip to bring the music and personality of Radio X to music fans in cities up and down the UK. We’ve got some great bands and artists who are going to perform at O2 venues and we’ve got Chris Moyles to host the whole thing. I’m looking forward to the next few months.”
