O2 and Evernote synchronise in premium deal for business customers
O2 and Evernote announce a strategic partnership to provide one-year Evernote Premium accounts to all O2 business customers in the UK. From today, O2 users will have access to the service allowing them to better organise and share their notes on the move.
In the first partnership of its kind for Evernote in the UK, O2 business customers will be able to store their ideas, better organise their digital footprint and share information using the Evernote Premium app. The offer, which is worth £35, is available for 12 months.
O2 customers using Evernote Premium, particularly those running a small business, will benefit from a secure and robust and reliable service to help them take notes, clip favourite web pages and share information with other users. Premium accounts also benefit from a higher upload limit, a faster search tool, offline access to Evernote Notebooks and synching between devices; especially useful for businesses encouraging employees to bring their own devices to work.
Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote said: “In businesses today work is happening in different locations, at all hours and across all types of devices, desktop to mobile. Evernote helps teams tie it all together with instant and secure sharing and super intelligent search. Our partnership with O2 is allowing us to offer the Evernote Premium service to millions of new business customers throughout the UK and we’re confident they’ll find it incredibly valuable.”
David Plumb, Digital UK Director at Telefónica UK said: “At O2, we believe in bringing digital experiences to our business customers to help them become more productive, and our partnership with Evernote is another example of how we’re making this a reality. Evernote Premium encourages businesses and their employees to collaborate better, whilst plugging the gap between their personal and professional lives across multiple devices.”
Evernote has 75 million users worldwide. The UK is Evernote’s largest market in Europe, with 2.8 million users currently using the service.
The offer is open to all 23 million of O2’s customers including business, mobile broadband, pay monthly and Pay & Go customers.
To redeem the one-year Evernote Premium account, customers must upgrade via http://evernote.o2.co.uk before 24th October 2014.
