O2 has today announced that it has joined forces with pioneering livestream business Driift to offer customers access to Glastonbury Presents: Live at Worthy Farm through Priority.  The exclusive offer gives customers the opportunity to get tickets to the must see music event, on O2.

Broadcast on Saturday 22nd May and Sunday 23rd May, the five-hour global online extravaganza will feature performances recorded across the iconic Glastonbury Festival site by artists including Coldplay, Damon Albarn, HAIM, IDLES, Kano, Jorja Smith, Michael Kiwanuka, Wolf Alice, George Ezra and Róisín Murphy.

Further surprise guests will appear during the show, which also features a unique spoken word narrative provided by PJ Harvey, Jarvis Cocker, Kae Tempest, George The Poet, Kurupt FM, Little Amal and Festival founder Michael Eavis.

The news comes as part of O2’s latest campaign, Here comes brighter, which is focused on helping customers get the most out of life with Priority.  The livestream tickets are available to O2 customers offered on a first come, first served basis. Once all exclusive tickets are redeemed, O2 customers can benefit from a £4 discount off the standard ticket price of £20. The exclusive tickets will be available via the Priority app from midday on Monday 17th May.

As music fans patiently await the return of full-scale gigs and shows later this summer, Live At Worthy Farm encapsulates how audiences and artists alike have adapted over the past year, using technology to reinvent the thrill of live performance. In that same spirit, O2 is offering its customers the chance to join this unique global event.

Nina Bibby, CMO, at O2 said: “We’re really excited to offer our customers the chance to join the Glastonbury Presents: Live at Worthy Farm stream on us, as it’s no doubt set to be the biggest of its kind. Although music fans can’t all be together on the farm this year, this event is the ideal way to show everyone what it’s going to be like to watch live music once again. And as we all prepare to take the next steps out of lockdown, our range of Priority rewards, including these live stream tickets, are designed to help customers truly mark the most out of every moment as they share experiences with friends and families once again.”

Ric Salmon, CEO, Driift: “Collaboration is at the core of Driift’s business, and we’re delighted to work with O2 to ensure even more fans can enjoy this unique online event. Live at Worthy Farm will immerse viewers around the world in the beauty of the iconic Glastonbury site, and present performances from some of the Festival’s favourite performers.”

Ellie Rowsell, Wolf Alice: “Every band is desperate to perform at live shows and festivals again, and we can’t wait to play at Worthy Farm alongside some of our favourite artists. What an incredible way to reach people from all over the world.”

Priority is exclusive to O2 customers and brings a collection of invite-only moments to help them do more of the things they love. From exclusive treats and experiences, to early access to the most sought-after tickets in entertainment.

Customers can download the Priority app via the app store, or by texting PRIORITY to 2020. For more information, search Priority on O2.
