O2 launches Loyalty Payback for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus customers

With iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus selling out across the country, O2 has launched Loyalty Payback, a new scheme aimed at making the wait for a new iPhone a little easier. O2 customers waiting more than one week for their new iPhone will have the cost of their Airtime Plan refunded for up to six additional weeks*.

“We understand the passion that our customers have for new devices, especially the much anticipated new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus,” said Nina Bibby, Marketing and Consumer Director for O2 in the UK. “Loyalty Payback is our way of making the wait for their new iPhone a little easier and to thank our customers for choosing O2.”

What’s more, O2 Recycle is offering up to £270 to customers who recycle an iPhone 5S, or up to £240 for a Samsung Galaxy S5. O2 recommends that customers trade in their handsets early if they are planning to upgrade and recycle an older handset as the value of earlier models tends to fall with the launch of each new phone.

Those planning to upgrade can get the best price for their existing handsets by registering them at www.o2recycle.co.uk, with O2 Recycle’s Top Price Promise meaning that if a customer finds a better price within seven days of placing their order it may be matched.
