Today O2 announced a number of additional websites it has zero-rated to help support victims of crime during the Covid-19 pandemic. These sites offer support and advice for victims of crime, sexual abuse and domestic violence situations and provide support for vulnerable children – and can now be browsed without using a customer’s data allowance.

The newly added, sero-rated sites are:

          Victim Support – www.victimsupport.org.uk

          Rape Crisis – www.rapecrisis.org.uk

          The Survivors Trust – www.thesurvivorstrust.org

          Male Survivors Partnership – www.malesurvivor.co.uk

Refuge and the National Domestic Abuse Helpline – www.refuge.org.uk

          Women’s Aid and Welsh Women’s Aid – www.womensaid.org.uk and www.welshwomensaid.org.uk

          NSPCC – www.nspcc.org.uk

Working with the government, O2 has already back a number of initiatives to help customers access to important information since the pandemic began and has gone even further by voluntarily adding a range of support sites for its customers.

Nicola Green, Director of Corporate Affairs at O2, said: “We are pleased once again to be working with the Government during the COVID-19 pandemic to support vulnerable people.  The ability of domestic violence victims to access support services through digital connectivity can help protect and remove them from dangerous situations.  O2 is delighted to back this initiative.”
