THE O2 ROCK TAKEOVER

O2 today announced that unique live content from the NME Awards Big Gig will be made available exclusively to O2 customers. The NME Awards Big Gig takes place at The O2 on 28 February and includes artists such as Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Chiefs and Bloc Party. Unique downloadable content including live music video clips and backstage action from each of the bands will be made available through O2 Active and online, ensuring that the NME Awards Big Gig will be a hit whether you’re at The O2 or not. O2 customers can access the content simply by texting ‘NME’ to 2020 and can download one live video clip from each band absolutely free*. More videos from the event and backstage interviews with each band will also be available exclusively on O2 Active and online at www.o2blueroom.co.uk/rocktakeover For those lucky enough to have a ticket, O2 has gone the extra mile to provide customers with a true rock ‘n’ roll experience with exclusive VIP access to special areas within The O2 before and after the event. O2 customers can text ‘TICKETS’ to 60202, allowing them and three friends the chance of VIP access to the O2 Lounge**, which, for one night only, will be transformed into the Rocksino – a flamboyant rock-themed casino open only to VIP guests. The Rocksino will be the perfect environment to chat with fellow music fans and soak up the pre-gig atmosphere. The party will then continue in the O2 Blueroom Bar straight after the gig, O2 customers can text ‘BLUEROOM’ to 60202 for a barcode ticket for them and up to 3 guests**.
