Wayra start-up Taskhub launches new Offers service
Taskhub – the online marketplace for tasks and small jobs – has launched its new Offers service , giving users a new way to find local services online at a fixed-price.
Offers allows small businesses and professionals to advertise their local services to customers a fixed price, anything from photography and candle-making workshops to dog-walking and bridal makeup.
Aurore Hochard, Co-Founder of Taskhub said: “We noticed that some people were using Taskhub Tasks to offer their services rather than request help. Over the last 10 months, we’ve also been listening to our users and realised that in some cases posting a Task just won’t do, particularly when you need to find a service urgently.”
Why use Taskhub?
It’s free to use – service providers can list services for free, customers only pay when the job is done and Taskhub adds a small percentage to a listed price as its fee.
Ratings, reviews and verification system for safety and authentication – every Offer is approved by a human before it is listed.
Easy to search on the go – users can search by location, filter search results to find exactly what they need and check what’s available nearby using the Taskhub app on their iPhones.
Taskhub is available across the UK. Sign up today for free by clicking here.
Taskhub was one of the winning start-ups in Wayra’s inaugural call for UK-based projects in May 2012. Telefónica Digital’s venture capital invested a further six figure sum in Taskhub in 2013.
